Our New Prepayment Policy for First Appointments

Synopsis:

At Holland Clinic, we now require a prepayment of $99 plus tax for the first visit to reduce no-shows and ensure timely access to our services for all patients. This payment is refundable if the appointment is canceled no later than 48 hours before the scheduled time.

Introduction:

At Holland Clinic, we are committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. To ensure that everyone has timely access to our services, we have implemented a new prepayment policy for first appointments. This policy has been put in place to reduce the number of no-shows and to make sure that appointments are available for those who truly need them.

The Impact of No-Shows:

No-shows not only affect our clinic's ability to provide care efficiently but also significantly impact other patients who need our services. When a patient doesn't show up for their appointment, it creates a missed opportunity for another patient who could have benefited from that time slot.

For example, imagine Person A has scheduled an appointment but fails to show up. Person B, who is eager to start their weight loss journey, calls to book an appointment but is told they must wait for two weeks because our schedule is fully booked. If Person A had canceled their appointment in advance, Person B could have taken that time slot and begun their treatment sooner. Instead, the appointment time is wasted, leaving Person B waiting and causing a loss of revenue for the clinic.

Our Prepayment Policy:

To address this issue and ensure fairness to all our patients, we now

  • require a prepayment of $99 plus Albuquerque, New Mexico gross receipts tax for the first visit.

  • This payment must be made at the time of scheduling the appointment and is fully refundable if the appointment is canceled no later than 48 hours before the scheduled time.

  • Please note that this prepayment is only required for the first visit.

  • If you are unable to make the payment when the appointment is set, we can give you a tentative appointment and a 24-hour window to complete the payment. If the payment is not made within 24 hours, the appointment will be canceled and offered to another patient.

We understand that prepayment policies may be new to some patients, but they are becoming increasingly common across various businesses to minimize lost revenue and ensure efficient scheduling.

Conclusion:

Our primary goal at Holland Clinic is to provide the best possible care to our patients. By implementing this prepayment policy, we aim to reduce the number of no-shows and make appointments more accessible to those who need our services. This policy will help us serve you better and create a fair environment for all patients seeking care at our clinic.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to helping you on your weight loss journey.
