Holland Clinic Appointment Policies

At Holland Clinic, we strive to provide the highest quality of care to all our patients. As a small practice, we are deeply committed to making the most of our resources to serve our patients effectively. To help us achieve this goal, we have implemented the following appointment policies to minimize no-shows, which have a significant impact on our ability to serve our patients.

New Patient Appointments

We understand that scheduling an appointment is a commitment, and we value your time as well as the time of our staff. No-shows for new patient appointments can result in a loss of an hour of Dr. Holland's time, as well as the time of at least one other staff member. To help prevent no-shows, we require the full payment for a new patient visit upfront before the appointment date.

Our policy is that the collected visit fee will be refunded only if the appointment is canceled 48 hours in advance. If a patient does not cancel with 48 hours or more notice, we will keep the payment regardless of whether the person ends up attending the appointment. In the event of a missed appointment without notice, we will not offer a later visit free of charge. Instead, a no-show patient will be charged and required to book another appointment subject to the same policy.

We want our patients to be satisfied with our services, and we do not take pleasure in collecting fees for no-show appointments. However, absorbing the losses from no-shows would necessitate significant price increases, which would be detrimental to all our patients.

Established Patient Appointments

After the first visit, our appointment policy becomes more lenient. However, we still cannot absorb the costs of frequent no-shows. We reserve the right to implement strict policies for patients who demonstrate a pattern of no-shows.
