Holland, and for over 32 years, we have been successfully helping patients lose weight with our traditional medical weight loss program, the "Classic Program." The Classic Program utilizes anorectic drugs like phentermine as part of our comprehensive weight loss strategy, which includes a tailored diet and exercise plan.

We are excited to announce that we are now offering a new medical weight loss program based on GLP-1 agonists like Ozempic, Wegovy, Saxenda, and Mounjaro. We call this our "GLP Program." Just like the Classic Program, the GLP Program also incorporates personalized diet and exercise plans to help you achieve your weight loss goals.

While the GLP Program may provide slightly better results, it's essential to note that the cost is significantly higher, ranging from 800% to 1000% more than the Classic Program. Due to the high cost and limited additional efficacy over the Classic Program, the GLP Program is not the recommended choice for most people.

However, if you understand the costs associated with the GLP Program and still wish to proceed, we warmly welcome you and want to ensure that you have all the information necessary to make informed decisions within the program.

The first matter to consider within the GLP Program is the choice of medication. Currently, there are only two GLP-1 drugs that the FDA has approved specifically for weight loss: Saxenda and Wegovy. However, other GLP-1 drugs have been approved for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and can be employed within our GLP Program. Rest assured, I will personally discuss the medication choices with you as a patient of the GLP Program to help you make the best decision for your weight loss journey.

Next, it's important to understand that GLP-1 drugs require self-injection. As a patient of the GLP Program, you will need to learn the proper self-injection technique. While I will provide guidance and support, the package insert that comes with your GLP-1 drug prescription also contains detailed instructions on self-injection.
