Internet-based medical care can also be excellent medical care provided that we receive accurate information about the current status of your health. Here are the data we absolutely must get from you.
Your Current Weight: You will need to have an accurate scale at home and track your weight in writing at least monthly.
Your Blood Pressure: You will either need to have a good home-blood pressure machine (see ratings at the end) or have your blood pressure accurately recorded either by another medical facility, a pharmacy-based automated machine or by dropping by our office at your convenience.
Your Resting Heart Rate: This requires a little bit of training (see information at the end)
Your Waist and Hip Measurements: These can be obtained using a tailor's tape (see instructions)
A current photograph of you: This is not absolutely essential but since many people have cell phones with cameras it should be fairly easy and helpful.
